WELCOME FROM THE OCCUPATIONAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH CENTER OF RHODE ISLAND

I wanted to take this opportunity to inform you about the services provided at the Occupational & Environmental Health Center of Rhode Island located at 410 South Main Street, 3rd Floor, Providence, RI.

The Occupational and Environmental Health Center of Rhode Island provides clinical evaluations for individuals or groups with medical conditions suspected to be of an occupational or environmental orgin. We are staffed with Board Certified Occupational and Environmental Physicians.

Physicians, state and federal regulatory agencies, labor unions, employers, attorneys, and insurers can refer patients.

Common conditions we see include exposures to lead, mercury, arsenic, pesticides, solvents, indoor air contaminants, and other toxins. We also see people with musculoskeletal problems, such as repetitve strain injuries.

We also arrange and interpet environmental assessments, and assist with worker compensationn issues.

We also work with businesses to help prevent injuries and illnesses. Below are examples of some of the screenings that we do.
